Wondering if Valley Academy is an option for your family? We enroll students in Kindergarten through 10th grade from across the region — including families within the Wenatchee School District, students attending neighboring schools, and full-time homeschool families looking for something different.

Step 1 — Submit an Interest Form Complete the 26-27 Valley Academy Interest Survey

Step 2 — Attend a New Family Meeting After submitting the interest form, you will receive an invitation to attend a new family meeting. These will not begin again until August of 2026 as it is summer. At this meeting you’ll learn about our programs, ask questions, and hear more about expectations in our Parent-Partnered program.

Step 3 — Confirm Your Decision If Valley Academy is the right fit for your family—welcome! If you live outside the district, please complete the Out-of-District Choice Request Form.

Step 4 — Complete Online Enrollment Submit the WSD New Student Online Enrollment form with the following documents:

• Your child's birth certificate
• Proof of address (PUD bill, utility bill, or lease agreement)

Step 5 — Course Forecasting & Orientation

A school representative will help determine appropriate courses for your student.
Once enrolled, students will be assigned courses and must attend:

• Student Orientation (on campus)
• New Family Orientation in the fall before school begins
• WSLP Meeting to set up program for Valley Academy.

How Enrollment Decisions are Made Last updated June 2026

Each program and grade level has a set capacity based on staffing and space. Enrollment decisions are made according to the following criteria:

• Students with a current sibling (same address) enrolled at Valley Academy
• All other students, called in the order they appear on the waitlist

If space remains in any program or grade level, we will contact families who were not part of the initial enrollment group from Spring 2026.

Any student not enrolled by September 14, 2026 must reapply in 2027. Reapplication is not automatic.

New Interest List Opens for 27/28 School Year January 10, 2027
The new interest survey for the 2027–28 school year will be available for
new students.

Timeline for 2026–27

February 1 – April 30, 2026 — Interest Form Open Complete the online interest form to be added to the waitlist. This is your first step toward enrolling at Valley Academy.

May 1–15, 2026 — First Round of Enrollment Decisions Families will be notified whether their child has been offered a spot for the 2026–27 school year.

August 2026 — Second Round of Enrollment Decisions If openings remain in any grade level or program, we will reach out to families who were not included in the first round.

⚠️ Important: Any student not enrolled by September 14, 2026 must reapply in 2027. A spot on the waitlist does not carry over automatically.

September 15, 2026 – March 31, 2027 — Enrollment Closed The interest list is closed and no new enrollments will be accepted during this period.

January 10, 2027 — 2027–28 Interest Form Opens Ready to try again or planning ahead? The interest survey for the 2027–28 school year opens January 10, 2027.

Valley Academy maintains small class sizes to ensure every student gets the attention they need. When interest exceeds available spots, we fill openings in this order:

1. Current siblings — Students with an enrolled sibling at the same address
2. Waitlist order — All other students, in the order they submitted the interest form
